These colorful Polka Dot Rainbow Cupcakes are not only visually appealing but also delicious. Perfect for parties and celebrations

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple food coloring
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • Rainbow sprinkles for decoration
  • Cupcake liners

Instructions:

Warm up your oven to 350F 175C and put cupcake liners in a muffin tin

Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl with a whisk

Put away

Melt the butter and mix it with the sugar in a different bowl until it is light and fluffy

Adding the eggs one at a time and mixing them in is the next step

Slowly add the dry ingredients, mixing in between adding the milk

Start with the dry ingredients and end with the milk

Put six equal amounts of batter into six different bowls

Use different food coloring to make each part of the batter a different color: orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple

Combine well

Add small chocolate chips to each color of batter

Add dots of different colored batter to each cupcake liner with a small spoon to make a rainbow

In a hot oven, bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean

For a few minutes, let the cupcakes cool in the muffin tin

Then, move them to a wire rack to cool completely

Add rainbow sprinkles to the top after its cool
