These Paleo California Turkey & Bacon Lettuce Wraps are a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional wraps. Packed with flavor from the seasoned ground turkey, crispy bacon, creamy avocado, and fresh veggies, theyre perfect for a light lunch or dinner. The basil-mayo adds a burst of herbaceous goodness that ties everything together.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 8 slices paleo-friendly bacon, cooked
  • 1 large avocado, sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup paleo-friendly mayonnaise
  • 1 head butter lettuce, leaves separated
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

Cook the ground turkey in a skillet over medium heat until its browned and cooked through

Add pepper and salt for seasoning

In the meantime, make the paleo-friendly mayonnaise and fresh basil leaves into a smooth paste by blending them together

Put aside

Take a lettuce leaf and spread a dollop of basil-mayo on one side to assemble the wraps

Place a dollop of cooked ground turkey over mayonnaise

Arrange avocado slices, diced tomato, cooked bacon, and red onion slices in layers

Like a burrito, encircle the filling in the lettuce and, if needed, secure with a toothpick

Continue using the remaining components

Enjoy and serve right away
