Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 2 cups finely chopped cabbage
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 package dumpling wrappers
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions:
Put the ground beef, chopped cabbage, minced garlic, minced ginger, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl
In the middle of a dumpling wrapper, put a spoonful of the beef mixture
Wet the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold it in half to make a half-moon shape
Pack the edges together to make the dumpling really tight
Do it again with the rest of the filling and wrappers
To make the bottom of the large skillet, hot, add enough vegetable oil to cover the bottom of the pan
Make sure the dumplings dont touch each other as you put them in the pan
For about two to three minutes, or until the bottoms turn golden brown, fry them
Carefully add 1/4 cup of water to the pan, and then cover it with a lid right away to steam the dumplings
Turn down the heat to medium-low, and let them steam for five to seven minutes, or until all the water is gone
Remove the lid and keep cooking the dumplings until the bottom is golden and crispy
Put the fried beef dumplings on a platter to serve
Have it hot with your favorite sauce to dip it in and enjoy
