Bakery Style Chocolate Chip Muffins

These Bakery Style Chocolate Chip Muffins are soft, moist, and loaded with semi-sweet chocolate chips. They make for a perfect breakfast treat or snack any time of the day.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350F 175C

Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease each cup

In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar

Mix until well combined

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition

Stir in the milk and vanilla extract

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined

Fold in the chocolate chips

Divide the muffin batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full

Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs

Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely
