Dark Chocolate Crepes

Enjoy the rich and decadent tastes of dark chocolate with these delicious crepes. These crepes are great for a special breakfast or dessert, and they will satisfy your chocolate cravings.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups whole milk
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • Whipped cream optional
  • Fresh berries optional
  • Powdered sugar optional

Instructions:

Whisk the cocoa powder, sugar, salt, and flour together in a bowl

Put the eggs in a different bowl and beat them

Then add the milk, water, melted butter, and vanilla extract

Combine well

Slowly add the wet mixture to the dry ones while whisking them together

Do this until you have a smooth batter

Put a nonstick skillet or crepe pan over medium-high heat and use cooking spray or butter to lightly coat it

To make the bottom of the pan even, pour a small amount of the batter into it and swirl it around to cover it

The crepe is done when the edges start to lift and the center is set

Change the crepe over and cook the other side for an extra minute or two

Take the crepe out of the pan when its done and do it again with the rest of the batter

There should be eight to ten crepes

Put dark chocolate chips on top of each crepe while they are still warm

Let the chips melt a little

To make triangles, fold the crepes in half and then in half again

If you want, you can top your dark chocolate crepes with whipped cream, fresh berries, and powdered sugar
